The toxic components were isolated and identified with bruceoside A and B and yadanzioside F.“ · PMID 2062960 zur Lokalisierung: „cytotoxicity of a series of quassinoids, isolated from Brucea javanica fruits“. ⚠ Beim Menschen wird ein Oelemulsionspraeparat der Frucht in China begleitend zur Chemotherapie gegeben (PMID 23019891); ein Vergiftungsbericht beim Menschen liegt NICHT vor.

Die Frucht fuehrt Quassinoide (Bruceosid A/B, Yadanziosid F). GRUPPENAUSSAGE zur Stoffklasse: Quassinoide hemmen die Proteinbiosynthese; im Tierversuch war der Methanolauszug fuer Maeuse toedlich (PMID 2082013). Zu erwarten sind Uebelkeit, Erbrechen und Durchfall, bei hoeherer Aufnahme Leberbelastung. ⚠ Fuer den Menschen liegt kein Vergiftungsbericht vor — die Angabe leitet sich aus der Stoffklasse und dem Tierversuch ab.
